hi there thanks for visiting, should be doing loads of other stuff, but no I played
good job too ,forgot to make my sons girlfriend a card here it is

I have used marianne papers from magazine, border stamp and snowflakes stamp also from mag,embossed, border with snow white and flakes with gold onto vellum cut out and left little posts so they waft around. Marianne dies are grass leaf other 3 pronged leave but cut them individually  large flower die and used smaller base layer of an open die cut flowercut out of kraft card, but cut a little spiral into each flower and rolled into a mini pinecone

sorry shocking picture, to much light reflection, but the card has already gone so can not take another.
have used lotv image holly fairy I think she is called, coloured in soft pastel colours (watercolour pencils) added glitter and used lots of die cuts large scalloped square sb,  new memory box frosty border and sissex leave shape, poinsettia is chole stamp embossed with wow embossing powder.

hi there another quick post, got to get ready for work soon.

inspired by the colours from crafty cardmakers picture challenge, not colours I have a lot of. Had the glitter card for about 4 years but kept it coz it was so pretty ribbon from a box of choccies I think but matches lovely. Image from dis digi downloads won recently and yeah printer liked it. coloured with markers and added loads of glamour dust, sissex thin cut swirls and chloe pointsettia stamp embossed with platiumn wow embossing powder

used forever friends decoupage image,3 embossing folders script,swirly frame and snowflakes, my new memory box snowflake die and mirri boad added glitter to the border could not find my red tape so just used normally thin double sided hope the glitter lasts finally added some gems and a ribbon thanks for looking angxxx

thought  this week I would crack on with the Christmas cards, did quite a lot of prep work but only completed 1 so far.here it is.

I have used the Marianne design stamps which came with papercraft essentials,used the skater, the snowflakes border (stamped allaround the edge and embossed with winter wonderland embossing powder) used a artylicious tree stamp, stamped and embossed 3 times and cut different layers and layered up with foam pads, background paper from forever friends christmas pack with added glitter,finally a marianne snowflake die and little silver star from stash, used the easi box board for the shape.

Black and white christmas card

A Christmas card that is a bit unusual but I quite liked making it.

I have used again a very old stamp, one of the first I ever bought I think just stamped and embossed it, used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the background and matted on to black, the corners and the circles are cut from a nelli snellen die set, not over sure what I had to do with the edges the die does not cut all the way round so figured I needed to fold it up some how not sure if I got it right. Paper pleated some black card stock to make the rosette and added sentiment, bit of black ribbon and gems from stash also added crystal glitter but does not show up that much

I have used a really old stamp, loads of glitter and snowflakes

A cd stamp from docrafts snowy christmas trees, tried adding lots of embossing powder and glitter in the top right hand corner with snowflakes on heated from underneath quite liked it but the snowflakes peeled off had to add some more. Used marianne snowflake and swirl die, sissex sparkle die, spellbinders label die and snowflake punch.

I have used a papermania stamp think I stamped 3 stamps and layered up, papers had for ages used a little gel pen around the green and edged both papers with barn door distress ink  used a a martha stewart punch tied a bit of metallic embroidery thread and added some black gems. thanks for looking angxxxx

Hi there just got home from work  to post no2

I was blog hopping and came across this challenge of spotlight stamping, with a great tutorial from Sues craft haven < I had not come across this before so gave it a go.
I stamped the image twice and then die cut a section from one of the images and just coloured that section, I used a scalloped oval xcut die to cut it out and again used the bigger size to cut an aperture out of the pink cordinations embossed with folder, die cut some sparkles loaded with glamour dust and pink star gems added some tinsel and ribbon the image is docrafts tatty teddy

Had a nice crafty weekend finished 4 cards and made a start on another
here is my first

I made this card by first heat embossing the silver meadow flowers stamp by sheena and then using an embossing folder on the top part of the card only it turned out to be debossed. stamped some poppies and get me masked one off (the poppies originally had stems but they ended up in the wrong place). die cut  the centre and stamped and embossed the sentiment punhed some tiny butterflies and diecut some leaves added some glitter to the poppies and some distress ink , colourd with promarkers

Birthday card for a 3 year old
hi there thanks for visiting again today
made another version of the birthday card a couple of posts earlier,took the previous one in to work and was asked to make another, tried to make it similar but different if you get my gist.
Used the same cc girl stamps but added a lotv stamp into the mix, coloured with promarkers sprinkled glitter quite generously (last week think I must have swallowed some not pleasant) found the mirrored swirls and leaves in my craft stash think it came in a goodie bag from craft show.
thats it though these stamps are going to hide in the back of the cupboard for a while took me ages thanks for looking angxxxx

4th birthday card

Hi there thanks for visiting, needed to make a card for a 4 year old princess,did not have a clue what to use, then remembered a girly set of stamps from Crafters Companion, so out it came.

goodness it took most of the afternoon, firstly stamped and coloured the images, then added glamour dust to everything, finally cut everything out whilst watching strictly on iplayer. I decoupaged the castle using 4 images and put everything else on foam pads, the last one added as a flying unicorn using stiff acetate. To finish had to find my shrink plastic then stamped and glittered and shrunk it down.

Kanban Autumn

Made this card firstly stamping a chloe stamp and then using a kanban set with owls, leaves flowers and trees stamped the flowers and leaves coloured with pencils and distress inks, coloured the edges with wild honey distress ink and stamped using the same stamp set again with wild honey added a little raffia.

Saturated Canary birthday card

Made a birthday card for a girl at work, but not a pink frilly card hope she likes it.

I have used papermania backing paper, a page out of an old book, saturated canary image coloured with promarkers, an articlicious lace stamp (stamped out in white and embossed with white detail powder onto vellumy like stuff) made a flower out of aida cut with bitty blossom die, and more flowers cut out of the page from the book added some purple paper some gems and some ribbon dyed with dusty concord distress ink.

I have made another Christmas card I want to try and make at least 1 every week, just hope I don't lose them,

I have used an lotv stamp coloured with distress inks, not much colouring to do, used papermania papers and some kraft card from stash but it has a little sheen to it, punched and die cut some snowflakes added some little red gems (before I distributed the entire container full of gems and sequins and seed beads allover the carpet) some buttons and ribbon from the molly bloom magazine.

lotv white with a hint of colour

Hi there thanks for visiting card no 2

ooh this was tricky first time around, only got a big shot so have to think where I am going to emboss. I started out with an a3 piece of card, chopped down the middle lengthwise, I shaped around one end (sorry you can't see because I am rubbish at taking photos) then embossed sections with old sizzex embossing plates, left a bit smooth on the front so I could stamp. I used a lotv stamp, stamped directly onto the card glittered and coloured the base layer, stamped again and cut it out, layered it up with foam pads. I die cut a circle added some waste of another piece behind, then die cut another circle embossed with swiss dots to layer on top. I have used my marianne leaves and swirls and made some little roses phew lot of messing but quite pleased and love the stamp.

Gold Christmas flower fairy

Hi there thanks for visiting, just made this card.
I have used cc flower fairy stamped with distress ink and coloured with they honey coloured one, used a cuttlebug script embossing folder and swiped a little distress ink over and added some gold embossing powder (I brushed some off, I wanted the aged look).  I used my new ivy embossing folder which came with cc inspirations mag this morning embossed it and swiped forest moss distress ink over it and again added some gold embossing powder,then cut it out.  Iadded a couple of ribbons and a satin poinsettia. Background paper is papermania sprayed with gold spray and sparkle matted on some gold mirri.
I followed the sketch Saturday sketch, look at me and its still Saturday lol.

Contemporary Christmas card

Hi made this card for enfys going buggy challenge, to use contemporary colours on a christmas card.
I have used a kanban stamp coloured with distress inks,I stitched some very fine gauzy material over the top of the image and papers using a fine metallic thread ( had to rethread the machine about a dozen times the thread kept snapping) I had this idea that I was going to pad it and quilt it silly me how was I going to do that its paper!!!! Added some stamped poinsettias and glitter leafs,some snowflakes and gems.
Not totally happy but it took me ages, will try again angxxx

lotv majic box

Hi there thanks for visiting, saw these little xploding boxes on lotv inspirations and thought I would give it a go.
Really enjoyed making it, but next time must allow extra space for scoring papers, there is some small gaps when I was covering the box, never mind.

so my pics are not very good

I used lotv fairy on tiptoes stamp. coloured with promarkers, some papers got in a goodie bag.  The flowers I made out of watercolour paper I had splodged pearly paint all over both side before die cutting, added little papermania buttons to the centre of the flowers and added some glitter and smirk ribbon.  The little springy flowers are stuck on to acetate with hot glue gun. I managed to get everything tucked back in the box, not sure how springy it will still be.

Made a card with a new stamp, bought from the Don Valley papercraft show, bit disappointed with the show, a few people who were advertised to be there did not make it.
Any way though very friendly,cheap to get in and got most of the stuff on my list.
Saw this stamp from stamps by chloe (www.chloescreativecards.co.uk) and had to have it.
Stamped on white centura pearl with wow embossing platinum sparkle, and then again with stampendous white sparkle. I cut all the flowers out and stuck them on with foam pads, added some gems.  Mat and layered with silver mirri and more centura pearl, edged with punch and added some gems and ribbons.

birthday card for my dad

Made this card for my dad, I have used a buzz craft stamp coloured with markers, used some joanna sheen papers, pale lemon cordinatons and some Crafters Companion blue card. Firstly I embossed the card with fiskars shapeboss, then cut some shapes and stitched them together mounted up with white and blue card, made a little rossette thingy added some rafia and a little charm,

lotv shaped card

A few challenges at the moment would like shaped cards or anything but a square, so thought I would give it a go.
I have used some double sided card bought from craft show about 3 years ago,and some kraft card. I used the easi box board ( I think from the same show) A lotv stamp,some sissez swirls, papermania flower ,border spellbinder and finally added some liquid pearls a pearl button and some adhesive pearls. I coloured the image with promarkers.

I have used Fancy from saturated canary, my printer was not playing nice, so ended up printing it on wrong paper for promarkers and ended up colouring with watercolour pencils and sakura gel pens. Also used spotty pink card and black paper. I rummaged through my bitty box and found all these different flowers I have tried making, added some pink glitter and some stamped leaves, black ribbon and gems

I have used papermania papers, stamped around the edges with little morsals stamps (like tapestry stamps had them for years and years, played with them but never actually used them on a card, the fairy is from an articlicous set unicorns and fairies. I have used Victorian velvet and peeled paint distress inks. Punched around the page with a Martha Stewart punch and the sentiment is from one of the flower fairy sets crafters companion
