Had a lot of car trouble november and december, my car died and then whilst looking for another someone ran into hubbies and did not stop so we ended up having to get 2  so just didn't feel like card making, then I had my birthday the big 50 and then christmas.  Must have been good coz I finally got a grand calibur ( what do you mean it doesn't count on the nice list if you ordered it yourself. Haha)
I am really chuffed made it into the creativity mag for january never been in a mag before funny feeling to see your picture there.
Anyway enough waffling

Forever friends wedding

Hi there thanks for visiting not a happy bunny my car has died and I have to catch the bus to work, public transport is dire, I have to catch the bus an hour and twenty five minutes before I start work as the next one would make me late. Sorry to moan may delete the moan later but at the minute its therapy

Made this for jill challenge at docrafts, I have wanted to make one of these trees for ages and thought I would give it a go.Took me ages to get the dimensions as I wanted them, but finally settled on the boxes being 2x2 so needed to start with 6x6.

I used my ultimate pro, boxer board and mini clever cut, I would not even have attempted it without these essential tools.

It's a bit of a vintage tree as a lot of the products used I have had for years, used gold centura pearl,docrafts gold christmas vellum pack,docrafts star brads (think they were in one of the scrapbook goodie boxes they used to do and the little number stamps  again docrafts from an old christmas alphabet see-dees love these little stamps my mum bought me a large set of them many many moons ago.
I have embossed the star shape from the ultimate and used a dotty embossing folder finally added some gold ribbon Thanks for looking angxx

Having a nice relaxing sunday(well done the washing and going to do the ironing in a bit) getting ready for my holiday, but have to work for the next 11 days straight then off to majorca with oh, son and his girlfriend really looking forward to it.
Wanted to make a card for the joannasheenchallenge embossing.
Used an old joanna sheen stamp foxglove, embossed a butterfly mask and inked through with distress ink, used my brand new frantage embossing powder. Made
a tag and stamped with a script stamp, then cut out a border from prima pixie glen paper pad added lace trim and fibres

Saw some cards similar in blog land did a bit of searching and discovered they were made with a bigz die. Fabbie picked as card of the month crafters companion and also picked as a cupcake cutie

 now here is what I did.

I used the shape on my ultimate board by crafters companion. For this card I cut 4 of the shapes leaving a small lip down the edge of 3 pieces so I could join the shapes together also cut out the inside.  Once I had decorated the frames I joined the inner sections together with small strips of card.I attached only the 2 outside inner shapes to the frame with ribbon. Sorry I know this doesn't make much sense.

I used cordinations and papermania paper,angelica image ,tag and greeting from inspiration paper pack,crafts too flourish die and craft work cards flowers and candi.

Whoooo it took abit of making and I hadn't planned on a no 2 but have already started on it

Vintage rose fairy

Have used crafters companion rose fairy stamp,script stamp and bobunny background stamp.Used papermania beautiful papers,old paper and Victoria velvet distress ink. I stamped onto watercolour paper and coloured with pencils. Tore all edges and inked also used new frantage jewels in pink. Added some lace, flowers and ribbon from stash.

Tri shutter male card

Made my first tri shutter card on Tuesday really enjoyed making it so made another, this time was trying to be clever and wanted a little bigger,but also wanted to get the card base and box from one piece of 16 x16 card.
Just about managed it not decorated the box yet though
